Hi Monkeys!
this year Google announced the new version of the program for students
"Google Summer of Code". Monkey Project as an organization will apply to
obtain a slot as "Mentoring Organization", this means that if we are
accepted, different students around the world could contribute to the
project and Google pay them for that. The witch's dream: hack for fun and
get payed :)
We applied last year but our proposal was not so strong compared with
others, so we are ready now to go for the second round, we are in a better
position than last year, we are more strong and more people is involved...
so here is the plan:
A new Wiki has been created and a section for GSoC2011 is already in place,
we encourage all people around this list to contribute in the proposal that
we will send to Google in the incoming weeks, the applications period will
be opened in Feb 28th ending in March 11th. We have enough time to send a
high quality application so let's move on at:

Remember that this is a draft, so the content will change a lot in the
incoming days, you know where to reach us but the mailing list is always
preferred on this case. Volunteers are welcome!
