Hi all!
First of all, it is a great pleasure for me to participate in GSoC
program as a contributor for Monkey project, thank you Eduardo and Sonny
for your support and guidance through the application period!
*About me*
My name is Vladimir Cernov. Originary from Republic of Moldova, I am a
fourth year student who studies Computer Science at University Politehnica
of Bucharest, Romania. Although I am familiar with open source philosophy,
I never contributed to a project at the scale of a summer of code, so yeah,
I'm very excited. I don't have a blog, so this will be a great occasion to
create one.
*Why Monkey*
I chose Monkey because I liked it. A friend of mine told me about Mono
.NET development framework, I introduced "mon" in the search box and I saw
Monkey project, I clicked on it, read its description and went to the ideas
page. I immediately got interested in some ideas, because they were
interesting and clear. Great documentation, easy deployment, clean
codebase, the ideal project I could apply for.
*About my project*
I will work on improving the monkey library. First, we'll do some
performance analysis, trying to identify architectural flaws and
improvements. Second (and mainly), we'll implement python bindings, making
it possible to export monkey library as a python library.
Looking forward to awesomeness and learning/exploring new stuff :)

Best,
Cernov Vladimir
