Hi All, today a press release announced the final information: PolarSSL was acquired by ARM last year and now the product is rebranded as "mbed TLS". Part of this change includes the License change from GPL to Apache v2, basically means that you can use the library on more flexible ways, like link it with closed source products.
This is really good news for us too and this makes a good deal for the incoming Monkey v1.6 where plugins can be build statically, e.g: Monkey + SSL plugin + mbed TLS in just one binary (mostly for embedded needs). More details about PolarSSL/mbed TLS: https://community.arm.com/groups/internet-of-things/blog/2015/02/09/polarssl-is-dead-long-live-mbed-tls note: We will start updating our documentation to reflect this library name change and further details. cheers, -- Eduardo Silva http://edsiper.linuxchile.cl http://monkey-project.com _______________________________________________ Monkey mailing list [email protected] http://lists.monkey-project.com/listinfo/monkey
