I think something is wrong with way how xsp-2.4 uses application domains. Combination of mono-2.4 + xsp-2.2 works fine. I guess the new application domain created by xsp-2.4 somehow ends up reading .NET 1.0 machine.config that creates NetConfigurationHandler instead of SettingsSection for system.net/settings. Jan
