User [EMAIL PROTECTED] added comment https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=360869#c1 Summary: Setting TextBox.SelectionStart should disable select all on first focus Product: Mono: Class Libraries Version: SVN Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Windows.Forms AssignedTo: mono-bugs@lists.ximian.com ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] QAContact: mono-bugs@lists.ximian.com Found By: --- MS.NET 2.0 (didn't try in 1.0) won't select all text on first focus if: 1) SelectionStart has been set (even to 0 -- important). or 2) SelectionLength has been changed. So, if you just set it to 0, that's the default and it didn't change. But if you set it to 2, then back to 0, it will disable select all. #1 doesn't work in Mono, zero or not, and I'd love to see this fixed at least. #2 works except for the case of setting it non-zero and then back to zero, I thought I'd mention it since I discovered it out of curiosity, but I can't imagine a real program doing this. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
