So far we were using dotGnu Portable .NET compiler (cscc) under Linux, and csc under Windows. As I'm a big fan of Mono, I wanted to evaluate the performance of mcs versus cscc, and eventually switch to Mono compiler for running our nightly tests under Linux. Any chance you could solve this issue? By the way, it seems you're planning a CIL optimizer too. I would be very interested in the topic. Thanks.
