See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/fd85b3df(VS.80).aspx. So there's no need to implement this in the MONO framework. Without the debugger the MS framework behaves like MONO. So I was wrong here. About your test case: I tried to rewrite your test case, so that it meets the conditions under that I found the wrong ui thread. See new attachment. But this code (although it works perfect with MS) can't even be executed on MONO, since MONO crashes before the interesting part is reached.
