Work _has_ been done, with the following classes already in svn:
System.Collections.ObjectModel.Collection
System.Collections.ObjectModel.KeyedCollection
System.Collections.ObjectModel.ReadOnlyCollection
The ChangeLog says that they were added in 2005-06-19 (over a year ago).
You need to be using `gmcs' in order to use these types, as only gmcs
targets the .NET 2.0 API.
