Hi All, I had previously written about a problem compiling Mono from source on Gentoo. I didn't get any responses, but I did come across the following posting:
http://lists.ximian.com/pipermail/mono-devel-list/2005-November/015886.html which said to go into the libgc directory and run autogen. I did, but I got the message: configure: error: This module is now part of `mono' and can't be built as a stand-alone module any longer. I tried running autogen back on the mono directory again anyway, and it didn't change anything, so I'm hoping someone else has some insight into what the next steps would be.
