I just was thinking of a data file (or more data files) but that can be independent of the assembly, can be a linked resource or an embedded resource. I think that this is a minor detail because this can be changed in some minutes at any time and does not affect the entire encoding infrastructure. And I agree with you that using resources is a better solution. I happy that we both have the same opinion. I probably was lost in the long running conversation about this problem and didn't realize this fact.
