Hi, These patches are currently "beta", that means that they make vbnc work and don't seem to mess things up, but I didn't test them excessively. I just posted them because I need some help with the previously described runtime problem I was unable to track down or isolate and these pathes are required to make vbnc reach the stage that causes the runtime to crash. So they currently only should be used in a working copy.
I would like to track down all bugs that are preventing vbnc from bootstrapping and then I'll either propose patches or file bug reports.
