Then I kindly beg you to consider adding it to "releases from the upstream Mono Project".
I have mono 2.6.7 installed from binaries on Debian kFreebSD (which is great indeed), but I want to use the latest version (Mono 2.10). I want to use Mono for a server application with the new Generation GC (as it helps long running application perform better) and utilize ZFS from Debian kfreeBSD AMD 64. My application will be very I/O intensive. -Anton ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jo Shields" <direct...@apebox.org> To: "Anton Andreev" <antonandr...@fmi.uni-sofia.bg> Cc: "mono-devel-list" <mono-devel-list@lists.ximian.com> Sent: Monday, February 7, 2011 1:31:22 PM Subject: Re: [Mono-dev] 2.10~rc1 and dropped architectures On Mon, 2011-02-07 at 13:19 +0200, Anton Andreev wrote: > Hi, > > I could not compile it with the instructions here: > http://www.mono-project.com/Compiling_Mono_From_Git > > I entered this command: > git clone git://github.com/mono/mono.git > and I installed all the dependencies (or maybe not all? pthreads?). > > I could not compile it because it complaint about pthreads, so I filed this > bug. > > What am I missing? kFreeBSD support is downstream in Debian. It isn't part of releases from the upstream Mono Project. _______________________________________________ Mono-devel-list mailing list Mono-devel-list@lists.ximian.com http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-devel-list
