MS is looking for some insights into the early days of Mono for the .NET Core effort over at the .NET foundation forums (http://forums.dotnetfoundation.org/t/the-early-days-of-mono/497): "I'm working on banging into shape the engineering systems for the Linux ports of the .NET Core effort. I was wondering whether anyone knows about the early days of Mono. What was the engineering system (CI, etc.) like back then? Was there any aspect that was really good or really bad that we can learn from when working on .NET Core?" I guess Miguel and the other folks at Xamarin are around the longest, but I thought I'd post it here in case someone else has interesting stories to share :) -- Alex
