Actually, that's not what it does. The dll file that it generates contains references to the other dlls. It is not self-contained. Rather than integrating a bunch of dlls into a single dll, what it does is it converts a bunch of dlls into a multi-file assembly, by generating a dll containing an assembly manifest which refers to the other dlls.
