I've been running back and forth trying to call OpenGroupware's xmlrpcd
from mono:
http://lists.ximian.com/archives/public/mono-list/2003-November/ 016697.html
- and I'm curious if anyone has been able to get this to work? Or is
there still a bug in mono?
I reported that as a bug: http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=50530
and it is marked fixed in CVS, on 2003-11-03. Since 0.29 (which you are using if I remember right), is from Dec 2nd, 2003, I would assume that the bugfix should be in that release. Unfortunately I didn't find the time to verify whether it works now - apparently not, so we might want to reopen the issue.
My test code is simple, and works for other XML-RPC servers, but when I turn it on xmlrpcd I just get "crap", and 401 errors in the log.
As we discussed off-list, those "other" XML-RPC servers are unlikely to use HTTP basic authentication or might support full HTTP/1.1, including 100-continue.
