The DotGNU project definately has a clear "real commitment to"/"clear road-a-head for"/"direction in" supporting the GUI side of things. Our focus in this area is on the DotGNU Portable.NET System.Windows.Forms (WinForms) implementation. I'm in contact with an industry sponsor who is going to fund the necessary development work for allowing them to run their GUI stuff on DotGNU. (I do think that having Qt / KDE bindings from C# is very important too for strategic reasons. Hence, even though we don't currently have the manpower to work on this, I want to strongly encourage all efforts in this direction, be it by helping marcusU on Qt# or by independant efforts.)
