Thanks for the tips Daniel! Unfortunately a quick test shows my ISP does not have the proxy module running. Framing the entire site is an option but I hate sites you can't bookmark.

Would a set of people have problems getting to http://www.foo.com:8000/? If the free (to use, not an open source project) WebApp I am working on takes off I'll look at Mono ASP.NET capable ISPs like www.cityhost.ca or perhaps, gag, an IIS ISP.
