Hi Gaurav,

Ugh, so there is a conflict (I used to make the patch too). But sadly
to say, maybe am going ahead (it also handles many of the warnings),
though I'd prefer the idea having raw string instead of XmlElement.

Well, there's not a "conflict" per se. This is a separate project
altogether but I'd like to make it a part of standard mcs, but only
after I reach to some level.

Before that, no messing with core-mcs.

And this "mcsdoc" is going to be fairly advanced -- it can handle
both the C# way of documentation ("///<xml />") as well as the Java
way of documentation ("/**"). Well, at least, this is my current idea.

The work was suspended since mcs and System.dll build has been
breaking for a while (and I don't love mcs /doc at all ;-).

Well, it finally won't be "mcs /doc" at all. It will only be "mcsdoc" :-D

Ooh, am sorry, I didn't notice about that. Yeah, that tells why the patch looks on so different purpose.

Well, actually C# XML documentation feature also covers Javadoc-like
syntax. My patch does not cover all of the syntax, but basically do.

Anyways keep up your good work ;-)

Atsushi Eno
