Hej Morten

At work I am forced to use RHEL ES3, and I need to ude mono.

But how do I do this the easiest way? I can't seem to find any packages
for it out there... Do I _have_ to compile myself, or is there an easier
way out?

If you dont want to compile, you can either try to use fedora RPMs or use the standalone installer : http://lists.ximian.com/archives/public/mono-list/2005-January/025254.html

Yeah, the installer has worked flawlessly for my on all [x86] Linux systems.
As long as you don't need a later version, and 1.0.5 will suit your needs, I
would recommend the bitrock installer. It's allowed me to switch distros
recently without having to reinstall mono, because it worked fine on either.
For once Linux feels like Linux, you don't have to distiguish between it's
flavors ;-) (Though on the post it only mentions the distros it's been tested
on).
