Hello Joe - yes, the app (and the simple csharp test) run fine under the .NET runtime. I'm sure you're right that it's only a problem on XP and works on Linux ... seems likely Mono is far more used on Linux so problems far more likely to be spotted. Still, I'm hoping there might be a workaround, or eventually a fix, so I can deploy 1.1.8 ... Thanks for the input.
