It could be considered a bug, let us know if you find a way to teach
auto* to do the correct thing here. Anyway, I suggest you use something
like www.scratchbox.org to do cross compilations.

A good solution:-) The same is needed for monoburg.

For ppc, using a ppc box is the best solution, IMHO, there are many
available at cheap prices.
