I've some more hints - I've removed mod_mono 1.1.10.x and xsp 1.1.10 and rebuild mod_mono 1.0.9 with appropriate xsp. This strange Exception in error.log still appears. Now I'm moving back to mono 1.1.8.1 to see whether it will work back again ...
