This is my last message to mono list.
Finally I get down and i have to say to my customer ( a Bank) that mono doesn't work in Solaris, so he can make the web services in Java or buy a Windows 2003 Server.
i waste 4 weeks, i make the test two sparc machine in fact i have more sparc machine (i work in Fujitsu España Services) and we make Fujitsu-Solaris the fastest sparc machine).
I think that the people of team Mono have a sparc machine with the componets needed but they don't give the complete info, like , the OS patches, the libs version if they compiles from sources o get from http://www.sunfreeware.com/, and if you have a production machine you can't format the machine and make an install from scratch even you can not change the GCC version o solve the usr/ccs/bin/ld and the make fails in link with the original Solaris 8 ld.
the best solution it's send a email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] from sunfreeware and request the package for mono.
