Is there some sort of make argument or define I can set to tell mono's make to not compile with large file support? Would doing so have any affect on mono's operations?
I have tried passing --disable-largefile but a) this is not automatically passed on to the configure of libgc so that you need to edit the main configure.in manually, and b) doing so has no effect. Probably some more manual fiddling around with the configure.in will be necessary and I am not too knowledgeable about that. I believe I saw the test result of large file support being overridden somewhere in there...
