[Mono-list] Help installing mono

Today I compiled mono from svn for the first time  :-)    

In order to compile mono I had to have a working mcs so I installed the 
mono-core rpm (I'm running FC4 here). Do I need to remove this package 
before installing my compiled version of mono?
