xbuild from svn currently supports both csproj and sln files. Its still work in progress, but you could try it. Just run it as - xbuild foo.csproj xbuild foo.csproj /t:Clean -- to run specific targets, like Clean Or you could try MonoDevelop (www.monodevelop.com), it supports msbuild projects emitted by VS200X. -Ankit > > 2.
