It works with 2.6.x on Debian after I've imported the new GMail cert... > mono --version > Mono JIT compiler version 2.4.2.3 (tarball Wed Mar 10 15:11:17 EST 2010) ... whereas 2.4 is not unable to send with no exception thrown.
