have you had any luck working this out? i've also got .net compact framework application that fails with this error: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Windows.Forms, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=969db8053d3322ac , Retargetable=Yes' or one of its dependencies. The entry point method could not be loaded the publickeytoken is different for .net CF compared to full .net framework, perhaps this is source of the problem (i.e. mono is not aware of .net CF assemblies?)
