A friend of mine is the lead engineer on that product (also one of the smartest guys I've ever met).. So if any questions or issues were to arise in such a port, I'd have a connection.
I looked into using it for my website (which figures out recipes based on what ingredients you have), however I didn't like the licensing terms so I ended up writing my own code.
