You can, but consider that even on 64 bit systems *a single object* cannot exceed 2GB (except Mono's big arrays), so the error you've encountered is probably not a bug (in doesn't work under MS.NET 64-bit either). Neither S.C.Hashtable nor S.C.G.Dictionary were written with big arrays in mind.
