I tried to post this but it seems nobody get it because I'm not a subscriber?
Anyway, it worth to try again. Here is my post:

It's been a while since the last post and I think the prctl code is outdated
now? Sadly it doesn't work for me. I'm using the latest Mono (4.2.2) and
wherever I look (ps, top, htop) I see "Mono Appname.exe". I just need to set
my apps process name as its friendly name.

How can I do this with the current environment?

PS: I've tried "exec -a AppName mono AppName.exe" too

Thanks in advance.
