Hello again, As I mentioned in my previous emails, I've been trying to install Mono on a FreeBSd 4.6 stable system. My problem is, when I try to install glib 1.3.12 (source obtained from the links on the Mono website) It tells me that - "You must either have gettext support in your c library or use the GNU gettext library ..." so I installed the GNU gettext library and tried to reinstall the glib software. I keep getting the same message. When I installed the gettext library I simply did "./configure" then "make" then "make install" and everything seemed to go ok. Is there something I'm missing here? Do I need to add something to my c library? If so, can you tell me how? I'm somewhat new to FreeBSD but I can usually work my way through problems if I have some explicit instructions.
Your help would be greatly appreciated as I am anxious to work with Mono. Thank you, Thomas Connolly President / CEO Electrosoft Solutions, Inc.
