I just wanted to second Dietmar here in praising your work. What matters about research is not that research always comes up with something great. What matters is that research will explore an avenue and at the end we will be able to tell if this new idea was good or not. And you will always have research by-products. So as Paolo said, this is a good topic to research, and it has great work behind it (we are all very surprised).
