I was under the impression from the article that Everett was the code
name for Microsoft's next version of .NET and not the code name from
Borland's offering.

Hi,

Everett looks set to be a complete development environment (like VS.NET)
rather than the next version of the Delphi compiler. I am sure that the
next
version of the compiler will find its way into Everett but for now
Borland
are just saying it will be a complete development IDE.

The article mentions Everett as the next version of .NET. Anybody here
has any idea of what will change with Everett from version 1.0?

Generic types?
