Hi all, I just installed mono ( http://www.go-mono.org ) on my Windows machine and tried to run the Delphi.NET demos found @ http://dotnet.borland.com ) on your VM. For those who may ( or may not be wondering ) Delphi.NET is an Object Pascal compiler ( still in beta ), that was recently released by Borland ( http://www.borland.com ) as part of the Delphi 7 release.
It would appear that the required parts of System.Runtime.CompilerServices have not yet been implemented as these Delphi.NET executables do not work under Mono, but work fine under the Microsoft framework. I could not even get a basic Hello World console application program working. All I get is a "Cannot open image <application Name>" error, for all the demos I have tried. Can anyone enlighten me as to if someone is already working on the required System.Runtime.CompilerServices or if there is a schedule for this to be implemented. Thanks in advance, Dominique Louis. -- http://www.DelphiGamer.com := for all your Object Pascal game development needs; http://www.delphi-jedi.org/Jedi:TEAM_SDL_HOME := Home of JEDI-SDL; Cross-platform game development with Pascal, has never been easier. _______________________________________________ Mono-list maillist - [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-list
