Thanks Daniel for that tip, got it built and experience the same compile error from mcs and mono source I got just a couple of hours ago... It just seems like quite a fundamental feature so I dunno if I'm just doing something wrong, but it seems valid to me. The code is compiled fine if the cast and struct replaced with something like an int*. So speculating on the bug - is it only checking internal types???
