I'm not familar with Mason (other than looking at the link you sent)... but I think you can accomplish similar things with ASP.NET. For example, you can decend your code-behind classes for an ASP.NET page from a "template class". My company is using a framework link this and it is working very well.

I would love to see a web framework with pages tied to an object system
like mason dones (www.masonhq.com). In mason you can create a template
(/autohandler, .../autohandler etc.) and every webpage is a derived
object of that, giving you very nice stuff.

mason is written in perl, but i realy don't care about the language.
