As far as the OS X part goes, if your interface is as simple as you describe, then yes, in most cases you will be able to just plug-and-chug it onto OS X using Mono and it will work. This assumes you haven't specifically used any Windows-only features in your app.
If your interface is sophisticated with many controls, then WinForms may not work on OS X at a level that you'll want to release to customers. My advice would be to test frequently on OS X as you develop your interface so that you can get a first-hand opinion of whether the result will be acceptable for your specific application.
