ChangeLog:
Checking in the de/en-code_utf8 changes. Despite this approach being more
efficient (converting to utf8 when displaying via Gtk+), it is prone to errors.
I am now going to try the get MAS to do it approach, I think that would be
better and safer.
Checked in just in case I am wrong about this.
