* connection_info.{hh,cc}: small code reorganization: combine
set_include_pattern and set_exclude_pattern into one method and
reset the exclude pattern if a new input pattern was given; call
the new set_include_exclude_pattern method everywhere, i.e. also
check for quotes in patterns everytime
