So, the monotone user and group also owns /etc/monotone and
/var/log/monotone. I've just pushed a new commit that should handle
refusing to delete the monotone user/group if any of these exist and
give a clearer reason why (although dpkg will also show warnings for
folders it can't remove). This also requires handling of the attempted
deletion of /etc/monotone{,hooks.d} in the postrm script.
I wasn't quite sure what to do about the Debian changelog entry.
