Looks like monotone (or Boost) blows up on symlinks that resolve to a
parent directory. In this case, DotMacKit.framework (a library
available from Apple's developer website) contains an embedded helper
application, which uses the framework and hence includes a symlink to
it. So this is actually a legitimate use of a symlink-to-parent.
I can easily avoid this particular case (it's in my build output
directory, which I wouldn't check in anyway) but I thought you should
know.
