[My mail server crashed today, for obscure reasons, and it seems like I lost a bunch of mails, both going in and out, and judging from the monotone-devel archive, it looks like this didn't go out. Appologies if you get a double]

But that, I gather, is major changes before 0.26. I'm currently in conversation with the Debian developpers mailing list, and they're trying to get hold of the maintainer, who basically hasn't responded to anything since somewhere in January, I think, at least as far as I've been able to figure out. Right now, it's a bit of "let's see if he shows a sign of life at all and take it from there". We can only wait and see. He might be through some big changes in life, he may be severely sick, or just on extended vacation. I think the Debian organization will reach a point when the monotone package will reach of state of lack of maintainer, and that will be the point when a new maintainer will have to step up. I'm keeping an eye on what's happening. As a Debian and monotone user, I've quite a bit of interest in this. Cheers, Richard ----- Please consider sponsoring my work on free software.
