Hi folks, I've set up an experimental ViewMTN server at http://www.ada-france.org:8081. This is the standalone server, so no mod_python or apache around. The server is Debian Etch with the following packages installed to support ViewMTN:
monotone 0.31-6 gnome-icon-theme python-cheetah The ViewMTN server itself is a checkout of net.angrygoats.viewmtn, currently at revision 7b40124b48efc337e16111a658ac636ae50ac52e (the current head). The problem: ViewMTN doesn't show the contents of files; for an example see http://www.ada-france.org:8081/revision/file/3181b16984c8ac8349456c61ecb7f8bb5d664281/README I think the cause is that there is no getfile.py on the system. Searching the Debian package database, I can see only one package that contains it: python-subversion contains a /usr/share/doc/python-subversion/examples/getfile.py. I'm reluctant to install python-subversion, because it depends on subversion itself, and because the examples directories are not and should not be on the Python load path. How about adding getfile.py to ViewMTN? Or should I get it from another place? Also, the checkout contains a subdirectory "web" that appears to be a copy of the package python-webpy. I suggest that this directory be removed from ViewMTN and a dependency added in the README file instead. Thanks! -- Ludovic Brenta. _______________________________________________ Monotone-devel mailing list Monotone-devel@nongnu.org http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/monotone-devel
