Unfortunately, these packages don't work for Ubuntu, because Ubuntu has
an old version of libpcre in Hardy. I've uploaded Ubuntu packages to my
personal package area (https://launchpad.net/~ulf-ofahrt/+archive). They
use the packaged version of pcre, statically linked (would it be better
to backport to 7.4?).
