I would like to make an universal opengl app that should run on iPad, iPhone
and iPhone (retina). 

I do not see how I can test on each one (when running the opengl iphone
template on iPad emulator, it just runs as a low resolution iphone app in
the middle of the screen, and I did not see a way to test on iPhone retina),
and how to pick up necessary hardware specifications like resolution and
device type. 

Any pointers? A tutorial would be great.
