Hi all, Let me start by saying - I absolutely love Monotouch! I started using Monotouch only a few weeks ago, and as a DotNet programmer, I was writing my program right away.
But I'm concerned... Will Monotouch exists in a year (or two)? What if Xamarin/Monotouch bankrupts and stops realeasing new versions? Will our projects die? Does Monotouch go hand in hand with Xcode? I guess that a Monotouch release for iOS5 will not work with an Xcode release for iOS6? Should we be concerned? I see a very buggy MonoDevelop - often I can't click buttons, set breakpoints etc. Bugs that should have been fixed long time ago/right away. Help file is crashing ... documentation is extremely limited. It makes me worry about the effort put into MonoDevelop/touch. How many is working on MonoDevelop/Touch? Just curious to hear your thoughts. I really do hope MonoDevelop will exists for a long time (as long as Apple doesn't do anything stupid) and a lotta effort will be put into it. :) Thanks, Mojo -- View this message in context: http://monotouch.2284126.n4.nabble.com/Monotouch-future-proof-tp4120075p4120075.html Sent from the MonoTouch mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ MonoTouch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/monotouch
