Hi, The issue is that mono can't detect your network configuration anymore, which is aggravated by a bug which makes it check even if the network isn't required.
Here is a previous thread on the issue: http://lists.ximian.com/pipermail/monotouch/2011-December/006937.html with a solution (the guy added a entry in his hosts file with his hostname).
