Very few people have not been touched by cancer in some way. This is your chance to
help make a difference... Cures are within reach, and with the necessary funding,
anything is possible! Help us reach our fundraising goal of $500 by joining us at the
"Extended Happy Hour Fundraising Event" to benefit cancer research. 100% of the
money raised will go directly to the cause.
THEME: 80s/new wave/retro music! Come prepared to dance to your favorite tunes or
just hang out and enjoy the people-watching, artwork and food...
WHERE: Asylum Nightclub (121 E Congress, north side of the street between 6th Ave.
and Scott Ave., across the street from Chicago Store and The Grill -- Look for the silver
gate.) Phone number: 882-8949.
WHEN: Friday, November 19th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
WHAT: Fundraiser for the Arizona Cancer Center. There is a $10 cover charge before
8:00pm, all of which will go to the Cancer Center for research. Snacks will be provided.
Drinks range anywhere from $2 - 6, and there are always specials. (FYI -- For those of
you who show up after 8:00, donations will be accepted all night long in the DJ booth.)
WHO: Friends, family, coworkers, and anyone who has been affected by cancer and
would like to make a difference. (Note: Everyone must be 21 and over with a valid ID.)
