Hi Everyone,
I hope this holiday season been good to you. I am sending out this email as a call for help. Local musician Leah Stanley who plays cello with me and some of you at times has had a bit of a tragedy. The day after Thanksgiving her house burnt down to the ground. Leah, her cat and cello are all safe but she has lost everything else. the Red cross has stepped in and has put her up in a hotel while she looks for a new place to live, and we are in the process of putting a show together to help her with things she will need. if you would like to donate your time and play a benefit that would be great.
As you can imagine she will need many things from basic furniture to drinking glasses but in the immediate are a bed, pillow, linens and towels. If you have extra or know of someone with extra I am happy to bring out the van and pick it up. Just let me know. Thanks for your time and please be safe.
